Procurement Support Specialist

LaSalle Network is partnering with a leading retail organization to hire a Procurement Support Specialist to support strategic sourcing and procurement activities across multiple retail brands. This role will be responsible for analyzing purchasing data, supporting sourcing initiatives for indirect goods, maintaining procurement records, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient purchasing operations. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with large data sets in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What's the job?

• Support indirect sourcing and purchasing activities for a wide range of operational products across multiple business units
• Analyze large purchasing data sets to identify trends, validate information, and support procurement decisions
• Manage purchasing activities and supplier information within the procurement system
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support sourcing projects and purchasing initiatives
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reporting, and item information
• Utilize Excel to organize, analyze, and report purchasing data using functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Assist with supplier communication, purchasing requests, and sourcing activities
• Ensure accuracy and compliance throughout the procurement process
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement organization

What's needed?

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with large data sets
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with procurement or purchasing systems preferred
• Experience with Coupa is a plus
• Purchasing, sourcing, or buying experience is preferred
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
