Part-Time Appointment Setter

Ameritech Facility Services is looking for an energetic, motivated, and confident Appointment Setter to join our team in Mansfield, TX.


This is a high-activity business development role focused on generating new opportunities for our sales team. The primary responsibility is to contact prospective commercial customers, identify potential opportunities, qualify prospects, and schedule meetings with qualified decision-makers or key influencers.


The ideal candidate is comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone, communicating professionally with business owners and other decision-makers, and consistently following up with prospects.


This is a part-time position averaging approximately 25 hours per week , with the opportunity to earn additional compensation based on the quality and number of qualified meetings generated.


Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective commercial customers
• Identify and engage decision-makers and key influencers
• Introduce Ameritech Facility Services and its services to prospective customers
• Identify potential projects, purchasing needs, and business opportunities
• Qualify prospects based on established customer and opportunity criteria
• Schedule Teams or in-person meetings with qualified prospects
• Follow up consistently with prospects to confirm scheduled meetings
• Maintain accurate prospect and appointment information in the CRM
• Document calls, conversations, qualification information, and follow-up activities
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure appointments meet qualification requirements
• Coordinate with sales representatives regarding scheduled meetings
• Maintain professional and responsive communication with prospects
• Meet established activity and appointment goals
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualified Appointment Requirements


An appointment must meet all of the following criteria to qualify for appointment compensation:

• A decision-maker or key influencer participates in the meeting
• The company fits Ameritech's target commercial customer profile
• The prospect has a legitimate project, opportunity, or purchasing need
• The prospect agrees to a scheduled Teams or in-person meeting
• The prospect actually attends the scheduled meeting
• The sales representative confirms the appointment meets qualification requirements

Appointments that are cancelled, no-showed, unqualified, or rejected by the sales representative do not qualify for appointment compensation.


Qualifications

• Sales, appointment setting, business development, customer service, or call-center experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Confident and professional phone presence
• Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with business decision-makers
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills
• Comfortable using computers, email, CRM systems, and other sales tools
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain consistent activity
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Previous commercial or B2B sales experience is a plus
