Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation (Defense)
\nHybrid/Remote – New York, NY
\n \nKey Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Manage a caseload of litigated claims from case development through trial preparation. \n
- Develop case-specific defense strategies for toxic tort and civil litigation matters. \n
- Draft motions, briefs, legal memoranda, written discovery, and client updates. \n
- Take and defend depositions and attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances. \n
- Analyze discovery materials, medical records, and expert evidence. \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- 2+ years of defense litigation experience; toxic tort experience preferred. \n
- Active licenses in New York and New Jersey, in good standing. \n
- Substantial deposition experience. \n
- At least one year of courtroom experience. \n
Salary and Other Compensation:
\nThe annual salary for this position is between $125,000-$150,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, years of practice, and other qualifications.
