This is a client-facing technical role where you'll configure, support, and maintain integration tools that connect our clients' APX environments to external systems. You'll be working directly with clients, troubleshooting complex issues, and helping shape improvements to our toolset as we evolve the process.This role is ideal for someone who's comfortable with ambiguity, enjoys technical problem-solving, and doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves when things get messy. This means troubleshooting issues, answering technical questions, and ensuring the integration continues to function properly as client needs evolve.Client-Facing Technical ConfigurationConfigure the BDLink integration toolset on both self-hosted and Advent-hosted APX environments. This is your primary responsibility—you'll be working directly with clients to understand their environment and set up integrations that meet their needs.Toolset Maintenance and ImprovementHelp maintain and improve our configuration toolsets. As we learn what works and what doesn't, you'll contribute to making our tools more robust and easier to use.Cross-Team CollaborationWork closely with Implementation, Service, and Operations teams to diagnose and resolve issues. You'll need to coordinate across teams, share findings, and help identify root causes when problems span multiple systems.Required Experience Technical FoundationEither prior experience configuring or maintaining integration toolsets, OR a strong demonstrated aptitude for learning complex technical systems quickly. We value the ability to learn over a specific tech stack.Client-Facing ComfortYou'll be interacting directly with clients regularly—explaining technical concepts, gathering requirements, and troubleshooting issues collaboratively. You need to be comfortable in these conversations and able to translate technical details into language clients can understand.Self-Directed Problem SolvingWhen issues arise, you'll often need to do your own discovery to figure out what's going wrong. This means being comfortable digging through logs, testing hypotheses, and piecing together information from multiple sources without a clear roadmap.AdaptabilityWe're actively improving our toolset and processes, which means things will change. You need to be comfortable with shifting approaches, learning new systems, and adjusting to improvements as we make them.ResilienceIntegration work can be frustrating. Systems don't always behave as expected, issues can be hard to reproduce, and sometimes you'll encounter problems that don't have clean solutions. You need to be okay with that reality and able to maintain your focus and professionalism when things get difficult.We're looking for someone with 2-7 years of relevant professional experience. This could be in technical support, implementation, systems integration, configuration management, or similar client-facing technical roles.
