Duties & Responsibilities Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage for neurosurgical emergencies and inpatient consults. Manage trauma and acute neurosurgical cases, including head and spine injuries. Perform spinal surgeries with and without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar). Place and manage VP shunts and intracranial pressure (ICP) monitors. Collaborate with hospital staff and specialists to ensure comprehensive neurosurgical care.
