Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients across pediatric, adult, and elderly demographics utilizing standardized assessments and observed methodologies.
• Craft individualized treatment strategies aimed at achieving both immediate objectives and enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions, focusing on language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to design comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and their families, fostering progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Occasional involvement in inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless care continuum throughout the treatment process.
• Ensure precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field through continuing education and peer interactions.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
