Summary The Project Coordinator will support aerospace and defense manufacturing projects by ensuring seamless communication, timely execution, and cross‑functional collaboration. This role focuses on scheduling, tracking progress, and maintaining documentation to meet project timelines and compliance standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and files utilizing various desktop software programs. Generate, format, analyze, and edit reports as required. Support the program manager with the maintenance of project documentation and deliverables. Act as scribe in project meetings and publish meeting minutes as required. Track resources related to project activities/tasks. Schedule and track meetings as required. Monitor budget adherence and identify trends or issues that may jeopardize programs. Assist in the preparation of the program budget and tracking, reporting, and monitoring of actual project expenditures. Communicate project needs and escalated to appropriate stakeholders. Demonstrate good presentation skills and project credibility and poise. Facilitate meetings in place of program manager as needed. Negotiate effectively within the limits of the Project Coordinator authority. Ensure compliance with company standards. Prepare and provide programmatic reports as required. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Software proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD Inventor, Pro/Engineer, and web‑based applications. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Must be adaptable to a changing work environment and competing demands. Eager to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization. Experience in aerospace and defense industry highly preferred. Education and/or Experience Bachelor of Science in a related field, or equivalent experience; four (4) years manufacturing industry experience. Two (2) plus years’ experience in a related role within the aerospace industry. Language Skills Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions. Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers, and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions: ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Authorization to work in the United States. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, you must be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
