Patient Access RepresentativePride Health is hiring a Patient Access Representative to support our client's healthcare facility in Houston, TX.Schedule: M - F 08:30 - 05:00 PM CST Location: Houston, TX Job Type: local contract Contract Length: 13 Weeks Pay Range: $15 - $17.40/hr *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.Duties:Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.Process and manage patient referrals.Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage.Ensure medical necessity requirements are met prior to scheduling or services.Review referral information for completeness and accuracy.Coordinate with patients, providers, and internal departments regarding referrals and appointments.Maintain accurate patient and referral documentation.Follow established healthcare policies, procedures, and workflows.Provide professional and courteous service to patients and healthcare teams.Requirements:Education: High School DiplomaYears of experience: 1+ Year if experience in Patient ServicesSkills/Specialties/Technology: Referral processing experience is required.Pride-Health offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
