Job Summary:
The profession for this role is Ultrasonographer with a specialty in Echo, located in Plainview, Texas. This position involves performing multilevel ultrasound procedures, including general ultrasound and echocardiograms, across multiple units in a short-term acute care facility with 49 staffed beds. The role requires working days, with on-call responsibilities during evenings, weekends, and holidays, supporting various patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics.

Job Details:

• Shift: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting on 07/20/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certification in BLS; ARDMS, ARDMS VT, CCI, or RDCSS certifications; at least 1 year of ultrasound experience including general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, Breast, Transvaginal, vascular, echocardiogram, adult echo, and contrast echo.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill procedures.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, working days with on-call from 5pm to 8am Monday through Friday and 24-hour coverage on weekends. Candidates must work three of five designated holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.
• Additional Information: The position mandates general ultrasound and echocardiogram experience, with responsibilities including assisting with precepting clinicians and working with specialized equipment. Candidates should have a valid compact license in hand at the time of submission and must respond to screening questions regarding prior experience at a Providence facility, references, and availability. The role may involve floating between nearby sister facilities and requires compliance with specific scheduling and submittal protocols.
