Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU Unit Information This position is within a Level II-III NICU, designed to provide specialized care for newborns and infants. The unit comprises: Number of Beds: 41 Number of Staff: 60 Staffing: Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9 RNs Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9 RNs Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4 (rare) Type of Equipment: HFOV, Central Lines, conventional vents, CPAP, NIPPV, Ostomy care Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Systems: CPN and Meditech Responsibilities As a Travel Registered Nurse in the NICU, you will be responsible for: Providing high-quality care to neonatal patients, including those requiring respiratory support and MicroPremie care. Assisting with various procedures, including surgeries (except for heads and hearts). Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Required Skills: Must have Level II-III NICU experience. Preferred Skills: Experience in a Level III-IV NICU.
