The Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Department at our organization is on the lookout for a fellowship-trained Head and Neck Oncologic Surgeon to enhance our expanding faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical skill set, a passion for ongoing academic and professional development, and the ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.

• Become part of a team consisting of 6 head and neck surgeons within a department that includes 17 full-time physicians, 2 dentists, 15 advanced practice providers, 12 audiologists, and 28 speech-language pathologists.

• The division manages over 500 new cancer patients annually, with more than 1200 new patient visits and performs an average of 50 free flaps and 20-30 pedicled flaps each year.

• Strong referral network from nearby areas including Lancaster, Reading, Lebanon Veterans Hospital, Gettysburg, and Harrisburg.

• Expanding portfolio of clinical trials, featuring both sponsored and cooperative studies.

• Access to a fleet of da Vinci robotic systems within our health system, including the da Vinci SP.

• Collaborative care opportunities with specialties such as neurosurgery, dermatology, Mohs surgery, plastic surgery, oculoplastic surgery, medical oncology, and radiation oncology.

• Engagement in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

• Appointment available at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor level, based on qualifications.

• M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or an equivalent degree is required.

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology with completion of a Head and Neck fellowship.

• Experience in managing a diverse range of head and neck surgical oncology cases.

• Eligibility to obtain a license to practice in Pennsylvania.

• Must be able to secure valid federal and state narcotics certifications.
