This position fully understands and enforces standard operating procedures relating to group invoicing and receivables. The Accounts Receivable Clerk supports the Accounts Receivable Supervisor within areas of credit, collections, and billing.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSJob duties include; although are not limited to:Researching and responding to credit card merchant retrievals and charge backs in a prompt manner, filing responses for future referencePromptly handling guest inquiry calls and emails on a daily basisReviewing and communicating estimates with group event contactsCollecting payments for future events promptly in adherence with deposit policiesValidating all resort activities, food, and beverage are correctly posted to group event master accountReviewing postings to group master account are reconciled with resume of eventCollecting payments for final post-checkout invoices promptlyCommunicating with meetings & events managers regularly on invoice status of group eventsReviewing travel agent commissions for both group and leisure staysReconciling room charges from Club outlets to hotel guest folios with Club team reportingQUALIFICATIONSHigh School or equivalent education required. Bachelor's Degree preferredPrevious experience in Accounts Receivable preferredExcellent organizational skills requiredStrong written and verbal communication skills requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMost work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems. Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 8 hours a day. Walking and standing are occasionally required.
