What you will do

The Director, Regional Product and Commercial Quality (Skin Health) provides end‑to‑end quality leadership for Skin Health products, overseeing Regional Product Quality, Commercial Quality, R&D Quality & Compliance, and Product Lifecycle Management across design, development, launch, and post‑market phases. It defines and executes the product quality strategy, ensuring alignment across regions and functions within the North America region. The position serves as the primary quality interface for regional leadership, supply chain, technical operations, and external partners, while leading issue resolution, risk assessments, and post‑market response activities. It represents Quality & Compliance in governance forums, acquisitions and divestitures, innovation initiatives, and strategic business decisions, supporting due diligence, integration, and network optimization. The role also drives continuous improvement, mentors and develops talent, strengthens cross‑functional partnerships, and translates business strategy into robust, compliant quality systems and processes. Additionally, the role ensures strong quality governance by educating and empowering business partners, maintaining compliant processes, and enabling timely, risk‑based decisions that protect patients, consumers, and the business.

• Responsible for oversight of End-to-End Quality Team including Regional Product Quality (Skin Health), Commercial Quality (all segments), and Research & Development Quality & Compliance (R&D Q&C)

• Provide Leadership during Design, Development, and Launch Activities within respective Franchise/Segment (Skin Health)

• Responsible for Product Quality Strategy

• Drive product alignment in Q&C across regions & functions related to global product & process validation strategy (CPV), specification and test method harmonization strategy

• Serve as the interface to all other regional QA functions during launch and E2E product management

• Support Due Diligence and Historical Product Assessments for Licensing & Acquisition and Product Licensing Initiatives

• Oversee and/or provide input to quality activities related to new products and project changes including change controls

• Provide direction for continuous improvement of established products, during lifecycle management, growth innovation and value creation exercises

• Represent Quality & Compliance on Regional Quality Leadership Team, Segment Commercial Board, Regional E2E Supply Chain Extended Leadership Team, and other forums as applicable

• First point of contact for Regional Franchise Leaders, E2E Supply Chain and Technical Operations Teams

• Lead resolution of regional issues and represent Q&C as a member of issue response teams and during post market events; consensus member on Regional QRB on behalf of quality assurance

• Provide Q&C input during communication strategy discussions

• Serve as Q&C representative during strategy and due diligence activities of acquisitions and divestitures. Lead/assist in integration efforts for new acquisitions

• Develop strong cross-functional partnerships in support of compliance and business goals

• Support One Quality Voice and two-way communication between the regional and global teams

• Provide Q&C support on complex regional/global projects

• Support Quality recommendations for siting / sourcing / network decisions within the region and in coordination with Global Franchise Quality Leads and MAKE Q&C partners

• Provides ongoing mentoring and coaching of team members. Ensure staff are trained on procedures and systems associated with their assigned tasks. Performs administrative and talent management related tasks.
• Represents Regional Product Quality in innovation forums to ensure that quality and compliance is addressed during the deployment of new products per applicable timelines
• Assists in the review of Complaint Vigilance Review Board (CVRB) data in preparation for the CVRB meetings. Highlights any implications to the business identified during the review process and provides one voice for requirements to investigate further.
• Educates and empowers business partners to understand quality system requirements and how they impact product quality and regulatory compliance
• Leads and/or participates in product and process risk assessments
• Develops, establishes and maintains processes and controls ensuring that the performance and quality of new and reformulated/re-designed products conform to established standards including policies, procedures, U.S. and Global Quality Systems Regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
• Participate in ad hoc special project, process improvement, and innovation teams as needed
• Translate business strategy into quality standards and systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline
• 10-12 years of progressive experience in quality systems management or product quality management within consumer products or skin health sectors
• Proven leadership experience managing large, multi-level teams with the ability to delegate and develop talent effectively
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and executing comprehensive quality assurance programs and compliance strategies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable business strategies
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence multiple functional leaders and management levels

What’s in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$190,825.00 - $269,400.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
