Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Metrapolis Behavioral Center, you will:

• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address each client's unique needs.
\n
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), tailored to the individual and family dynamic.

• Facilitate individual and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote healing and communication.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential case notes and documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) software.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community organizations to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing education to stay current with advancements in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our target demographic includes diverse children, adolescents, adults, and families, many of whom face cultural and socio-economic barriers. We place particular emphasis on providing support to members of the Latino community, ensuring our therapeutic practices are culturally responsive. You will work closely with clients who experience a wide array of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship issues.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active, unrestricted LMFT license to practice in the state of Oregon.
\n
• Strong bilingual communication skills to provide therapy in both Spanish and English.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health setting working with a diverse population.

• Respect for and sensitivity to the cultural and individual needs of clients.
\n
• Familiarity with working in a behavioral health environment and an ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
