Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time travel assignment (Schedule details to be discussed based on current department needs)

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment in the Cardiac Cath Lab, ensuring safety and precision.
• Perform essential roles during adult and geriatric cardiac catheterization, including computer operator, scrub assistant, second circulator, and recovery technician.
• Support circulating RN by assessing and implementing care for cardiovascular lab patients, identifying contraindications via drugs and lab values.
• Accurately document patient demographics and procedural details; monitor and relay hemodynamic data.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of sterile equipment and serve as first-line assistant to physicians during procedures.
• Properly manage disposal of biohazardous materials and contaminated equipment.
• Calculate valve areas and shunts; participate actively in emergency responses and coordinate transfers.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• Communicate promptly with team members about notable changes in patient condition.

Qualifications:

• Experience as an Imaging - Cath Lab Tech
• Proficiency in operating cardiac cath equipment and related technology
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment
• BLS/ACLS certification (preferred or as required by assignment)
