Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Communications in Kernersville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a welcoming environment. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, production facilities, parking areas, offices, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when required.
- Assist with enforcing site policies related to restricted areas, vehicle traffic, contractor access, and reporting of security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
