Educate and assist individuals with enrolling in affordable health insurance coverage through the NY State of Health Marketplace Explain eligibility for Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, Qualified Health Plans, and Health & Recovery Plan Explain federal premium tax credits, cost-sharing reductions, deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, and Marketplace metal tiers Teach members about Fidelis digital tools, including the member portal and mobile app Assist consumers with submitting required documents by scan, fax, or mail Support existing members with renewals and recertifications Help consumers with premium payment submissions Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate assistance Conduct public education activities and presentations Participate in ACA forums, workshops, and community events Maintain a daily tracking tool and monitor personal application dashboards Follow up on potential leads and consumer inquiries Record follow-up dispositions and enrollment data in the required CRM Keep current with Marketplace functionality, ACA requirements, industry updates, and regulatory changes Participate in trainings, updates, webinars, and other required forums Secure confidential information and maintain discretion regarding business-related files, reports, and conversations Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards Requirements Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future Must have a High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of prior experience in managed care, sales, customer service or related experience preferred Must have basic computer skills Must complete and pass the NY State of Health approved training program and become certified Must complete all required annual recertification courses/learnings Bilingual English/Spanish, Hindi, or Bengali highly preferred Customer service experience Healthcare experience Enrollment Counselor/Health Navigator experience Community outreach experience Front-facing or field sales experience Public speaking experience Prospecting, tabling, and events experience Comfortable with field-based travel requirements supporting Queens County, NY MS Office Suite Salesforce Required to work evenings and weekends Driver's license preferred for NYC counties Basic computer skills Must comply with conflict-of-interest standards and regulations Must safeguard confidential information and Protected Health Information (PHI) Must participate in required trainings, updates, webinars, and forums Must meet annual Marketplace Facilitated Enroller (MFE) recertification requirements Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in health insurance enrollment processes, including Medicaid and ACA programs, while providing culturally competent customer service.
