Misericordia University is seeking qualified candidates for adjunct faculty positions for all departments for the 25-26 fiscal year. The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to undergraduate and/or graduate students in their field of study. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with students and contribute to the academic mission of the university.

• Prepare and deliver engaging and effective course lectures, discussions, and activities in alignment with the prescribed syllabus.
• Develop and grade assignments, exams, and other assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles and backgrounds.
• Provide timely feedback to students on their academic performance and maintain regular communication through office hours and email.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff in the department to enhance the curriculum and contribute to departmental initiatives.
• Stay abreast of current trends and research in the field and incorporate relevant content into course materials.
• Participate in departmental meetings and other academic activities as required.

Misericordia University is located adjacent to the Pocono Mountains region of Northeastern Pennsylvania, approximately 2-3 hours from New York City, Philadelphia, and Baltimore.
