TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Must have a valid state license in hand at the time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Charge experience preferred Description: Real job details indicate a shift of 40 hours per week, varying between five 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts when covering weekends. This position includes weekend and holiday coverage for the night shift. No call is required at this time. Candidates must be aware of the urgency of the fingerprinting process. The candidate must complete fingerprints as soon as they sign the contract. Travelers who are outside the local area may be mailed a fingerprinting packet to be completed urgently upon receipt. All candidates are required to submit two professional references. At least one reference must be from someone in a formal leadership capacity, such as a supervisor. Candidates must have education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Previous experience with charge responsibilities is preferred, along with a patient ratio experience. Charting system experience is required. Candidates with trauma level experience are preferred. No coworker references will be accepted, and current employees are ineligible for hire. The position requires specific skills such as blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, and pain assessment and management. Additional interdisciplinary support is available in the unit.
