AGV Project Engineer (2027 Grad)

Job DescriptionBastian Automation, a division of Toyota Automated Logistics, is seeking a skilled and versatile Project Engineer with automation experience who will graduate in 2027 to join our Autonomous Vehicle Division in Georgetown, KY.Job OverviewAs a Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in the development and execution of complex projects. Your focus will be on the technical aspects of research, innovation, and debugging complex systems. By delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients and promoting a culture of continuous improvement, you will make a significant impact on the success of our projects. You will collaborate closely with project teams and engage with various internal and external groups, utilizing your extensive knowledge in the automation and AGV field to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.Job FunctionsDevelop and design automation systems, incorporating system concepts, design elements, and traffic or machine interlocks.Troubleshoot and debug complex systems, including electrical, PLCs, navigation systems, sensors, logistics, and networking.Assemble vehicles and systems as needed, and provide on-site installation support.Support the development of new products, such as AGVs and accessories.Offer technical assistance to current customers and dealers for automation and AGV projects in their regions.Prepare clear and concise technical documentation, including specifications and user manuals.Travel Requirements: 50% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Bastian Automation)Required Qualifications and Preferred Skills:Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. A Bachelor's Degree with equivalent technical experience will be considered.
