Academic rank will reflect thequalifications of the successful applicant. The candidate should have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. Applicants should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology and be able to obtain an Alabama medical license and DEA. General/Medical Dermatology:Clinical responsibilities will include provision of outpatient clinic services, inpatient consultations and supervision of residents and medical students. Candidates must have an Alabama medicallicense and DEA prior to appointment.Mohs Surgery:Applicants should be fellowship trained in Mohs Surgery. Clinical responsibilities will include provision of outpatient clinic services; inpatient consultations; and supervision of residents and medical students.A strong interest in teaching, clinical and/or basic research is desirable. Candidates must have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, be highly motivated, and compassionate towards all patients. Applicants should be fellowship trained in Mohs Surgery.
