The role involves studying the market, assessing supplier capabilities, and staying informed about global LSP trends to keep costs competitive and services efficient.How you create impactLead analysis of transport market data, supplier capabilities, and operational constraints to determine root causes, evaluate risks and strategic opportunitiesDrives the development of advanced sourcing solutions, including alternative LSP strategies, long-term corrective actions, and process improvementsAnticipates sourcing, contractual, and market-driven challenges that may impact cost, service, or compliance, and proactively implements mitigation plansPartners with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to implement solutions and ensure timely issue resolutionLead the design and execution of procurement strategies and communication plans for specific CustomersOversee and negotiate customer-specific agreements with transport providers (contracts, rates, etc.) and suggest alternatives when neededDevelop and maintain standard contractual documents (e.g., MLSA, NDA) in cooperation with Legal and Compliance teamsAssure that procurement processes are properly followed and that related documentation is stored in the designated share foldersStrengthen the company’s value proposition by leveraging cross-customer insights, best practices, and strategic procurement expertiseProvide high-level market analysis, benchmarking, and strategic reporting to guide senior management and support informed business decisionsBuild and lead strategic relationships with key transport providers, ensuring long-term alignment, performance growth, and partnership developmentIdentify, assess, and onboard new transport partners to support expansion, innovation, and capability enhancementLead major procurement projects and RFQ processes for designated transport mode driving and ensuring seamless execution and strong collaboration with global sourcing team execution (NSCE)Plan and organize NSCE working plan to be sur that resourced are available and suggest priorities to guarantee the timeline respect of the different projectsWhat we would like you to bringProven track record in logistics operations (more than 6 years)Demonstrating strong expertise in managing complex, multi-market environmentsDeep understanding of all modes of transport with proven capability to optimize multimodal logistics solutionsExtensive experience with Microsoft Suite and other digital toolEfficient communication with key internal and external stakeholdersExtensive experience leading RFQs, supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and strategic procurement reviewsExcellent negotiation and influencing skillsSocial competence for relationship management with partners and customersHighly process-driven mindset with strong organizational discipline, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all procurement activitiesFlexibility and willingness to travelFluent in English (written and verbal)Formal education in logistics or supply chain management with a very good understanding of the multi modal forwarding businessWhat's in it for youThere has never been a better time to work in logistics.
