Procurement Supervisor

Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Lead to oversee IT vendor relationships, demand management, and enterprise procurement activities. Reporting to the CFO and collaborating across multiple departments—especially IT—this role plays a critical part in managing the procurement lifecycle, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, performance management, and alignment with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities IT Vendor Management Serve as the primary point of contact for key IT vendor relationships, including outsourced developers, programs, and consultants. Develop and implement vendor governance frameworks, KPIs, SLAs, and performance monitoring. Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance, identify innovation opportunities, and manage risk. Oversee contract renewals, amendments, and negotiations to ensure favorable terms and business value. Demand Management Partner with IT leadership to anticipate, analyze, and validate IT demand across business units. Coordinate procurement planning to align demand forecasts with budget and strategic priorities. Analyze spending trends to identify cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements. Collaborate with finance, transformation, and operations to optimize sourcing strategies. Procurement & Sourcing Provide a roadmap and strategy for delivering cost savings aligned to organizational needs. Prepare financial business cases for future vendor decisions. Lead and manage sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs for IT and non‑IT categories. Drive competitive bidding processes, ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment with goals. Develop category strategies and procurement plans that align with operational needs. Manage contract lifecycles from negotiation to renewal. Risk & Compliance Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements. Assess supplier risks, including financial stability, cybersecurity, and business continuity. Implement due diligence and risk mitigation processes through appropriate contract provisions. Maintain governance on vendor and contract approvals, including signing authority. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing procurement and vendor management expertise. Facilitate collaboration among IT, finance, transformation, legal, and business units. Develop and maintain financial models and value‑creation scorecards for executive and board review. Educate internal teams on procurement best practices and supplier relationship management. Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the business and board as needed. Qualifications 7+ years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years focused on IT sourcing and vendor management Experience in a private‑equity portfolio company environment Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred) Demonstrated success leading RFP processes, contract negotiations, and supplier performance programs Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects without direct supervision Proficiency with procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, SAP) and vendor management tools Advanced Excel skills and strong MS Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Access) Dynamic personality capable of learning quickly and adapting in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Independent, action‑driven with strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills Track record of setting clear objectives and driving organizational change Physical Demands & Work Environment The role requires regular talking and hearing, frequent sitting for long periods, typing, and use of hands for operating office equipment. Candidates should be able to type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy. Minimal travel may be required. The position is located in a professional office environment.
