- You will assist the Service Officer in supervising and providing technical, operational and administrative supervision over the Services Division, PMO/MCPD.
- You will plan for current and long range operations based on workload trends and projected requirements.
- You will develop and implement, as directed, Force Protection Condition (FPCON) plans, procedures, processes and measures.
- You will supervise personnel who provide installation security and enforce Federal Law, State Law, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), U.S. Navy regulations, Marine Corps Orders, and installation regulations.
- You will prepares work schedules for subordinate supervisors and reviews vacation/leave schedules for entire force to insure adequate coverage at all times.
- You will supervise crime analysis, obtains data for identifying enforcement problem areas, conducts derailed planning for approval of the PM/CP, and coordinates work force deployment to identified areas as required.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You must posses and maintain a current valid United States driver's license and be able to maintain a U.S. Government emergency vehicle operator's license.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position is covered by the 1996 Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun control Act of 1968. Persons convicted of a misdemeanor or felony crime of domestic violence are not eligible for the position.
- Incumbent is subject to 24-hour recall and will maintain a 24-hour recall notification number and is required to respond per installation policy/SOP. May be subject to being interrupted from meal or other work breaks while on duty.
- Incumbent must pass a sanctioned job compatibility/psychological examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Incumbent must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Incumbent must pass all weapons qualifications prior to assigned duties and responsibilities and must pass all requalifications as required. Incumbent must carry firearms.
- Must be able to use all police equipment, certify in the use of radar and alcohol detection equipment, field sobriety tests, and obtain other certifications required to accomplish the duties of a law enforcement officer.
- This position does not meet the definition of law enforcement officer (LEO) and is excluded from coverage as a LEO for purposes of the Federal Employment Retirement System-Base Annuity IAW 5 CFR, Part 842, Subpart H.
- Must successfully complete designated USMC Police Officers Course of Instructions and meet all certification requirements, to include weapons certification, CPR, AED, DoD and Joint Training Regulations, etc.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
