Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative

Location: Fully Remote (Domestic US) Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Compensation: $15.00 - $18.50 / hour

What You Will Do

• Handle High Call Volumes: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a clear expectation of managing 7.5 hours of back-to-back calls per day.

• Deliver Exceptional Service: Bring a true customer service mindset to every interaction, demonstrating patience, politeness, and empathy on the phone.

• Navigate Complex Systems: Seamlessly toggle between modern, browser-based applications (like Microsoft Teams and Outlook) and legacy DOS-based systems.

• Maintain Precision: Utilize high keyboard accuracy to avoid mistyping keys that can cause system lockouts.

What You Bring (Candidate Must-Haves)

• Industry Experience: Prior experience in the healthcare revenue cycle OR prior experience as a Customer Service Representative with major health payers (e.g., Blue Cross, Humana).

• Technical Proficiency: Confidence in navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously, including older DOS interfaces and modern web tools.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional phone etiquette, a positive attitude, and the emotional intelligence to handle back-to-back calls with grace.

• Career Longevity: A solid, consistent work history that demonstrates reliability and commitment.

Schedule & Training Details

• Standard Schedule: Monday - Friday. Exact shift hours are still being determined, but our operational hours run until 7:00 PM EST .

• Time Zones: Shifts will be distributed primarily in Eastern Standard Time (~50-60%), followed by Central Time, with a small percentage in Pacific Time.

• Mandatory Training: The first 3 weeks of employment consist of a strict, mandatory training schedule from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST .
