Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Contract | 16 Weeks | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 07:00 – 19:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU/Step-Down/IMC setting, monitoring and managing patients requiring intermediate-level care
• Perform continuous telemetry monitoring and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythm changes
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California or a compact license accepted in California
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior experience in a PCU, Step-Down, IMC, or Telemetry nursing environment
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (07:00–19:30)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Familiarity with intermediate care workflows and high-acuity patient populations
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced hospital environment
