Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Float Pool)

Upland, CA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week | Expected 36 hours/week | 16-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a float pool capacity, rotating across Med Surg/Telemetry units and ER Tele Holding (Med Surg/Tele patients only)
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care in alignment with unit protocols and standards of practice
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adapt quickly to varying unit environments and patient populations as required by float pool assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience
• Ability and willingness to float to any Med Surg/Telemetry or ER Tele Holding unit as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior float pool experience in an acute care setting
• Strong adaptability and comfort working across multiple units and care teams
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
