The Project Manager will oversee construction projects within manufactured housing communities. This position is responsible for coordinating contractors and vendors, managing project schedules and budgets, ensuring quality workmanship, and keeping projects on track from planning through completion.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, hands-on project manager with construction knowledge and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage construction projects from planning through completion.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, municipalities, and internal operations teams.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and timelines.
• Obtain and coordinate necessary permits, inspections, and approvals.
• Oversee manufactured-home installations, including site preparation, foundations, utility connections, grading, and final completion.
• Manage infrastructure projects involving roads, water, sewer, electrical, drainage, landscaping, and common areas.
• Conduct regular property and project-site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, safety, and compliance.
• Review bids and proposals and assist with contractor selection and negotiations.
• Track project expenses, invoices, purchase orders, and budgets.
• Identify potential delays, cost overruns, and construction issues and develop solutions.
• Maintain clear communication with ownership, management, residents, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, photographs, contracts, permits, and completion records.
• Assist with long-term capital improvement planning and prioritization.
• Travel between properties as needed to oversee active projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management, construction management, property development, or a related field.
• Experience in manufactured housing, multifamily housing, residential construction, land development, or property management preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contractors, site work, and building systems.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans, scopes of work, and project specifications.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-management software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel to multiple community locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with manufactured/mobile home communities.
• Knowledge of manufactured-home installation and site development.
• Experience managing municipal permitting and inspections.
• Experience with infrastructure and utility projects.
• Construction management or project management certification is a plus.
