Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13–18 week options) | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit on night shift
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute patient care plans
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
• AHA BLS certification required — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification required — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• No open background or license hits — facility will not accept any open cases or license violations
• Locals are accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18+ months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single facility
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity telemetry setting
• Familiarity with electronic health records and nursing module completion processes
