About the Role Your Responsibilities

• Review results for precision, address discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Ensure thorough documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold the highest quality standards in the lab.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment in compliance with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Necessary Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) attained within one year of employment.
• Continuous maintenance of certification throughout your tenure.

Skill Set
