Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Telemetry - 12 Hour Shifts
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in various skills and have prior experience in charge nursing roles.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in accordance with established standards and practices.
- Monitor patient conditions and make critical decisions regarding care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Assist in procedural interventions as required.
- Handle patient transfers and the discharge process efficiently.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of previous charge experience in an acute care or telemetry setting.
- Current RN license (Compact license preferred).
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Experience using the Epic charting system is required.
