Systems Test Engineer

Engineer Systems Test 2Must be a US Citizen able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance Support our Systems Test Engineering department. As a member of the Systems Test Engineering group, you'll get to participate in a wide variety of dynamic and climatic test activities for cutting edge weaponry. This position will serve on-site at our facility in Plymouth, MN.Responsibilities:Prepare test plans, coordinate with test facilities, provide test execution oversight, analyze test data and prepare final test reportsPerform climatic, vibration, mechanical shock, electromagnetic effects, bench testing of electronic devices, and safety and reliability testingWith proper training must be willing to be in the presence of and handle hazardous devicesResolve test-related technical issues and support failure and analysis activitiesData collection, reduction, analysis, and presentationAbility to travelBasic Qualifications for Engineer Systems Test 2:BS in Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related fieldProficiency with data analysis tools such as MS Excel, Matlab, SciPy, etc.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be U.S. CitizenPreferred Qualifications for Engineer Systems Test 2:Experience with one or more of the following: climatic, vibration, mechanical shock, Electromagnetic Effects (EME), and Insensitive Munitions (IM) TestingExperience using test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, digital acquisition systems, etc.Understanding of energetic testing, components, and materialsFamiliarity with one or more of the following: MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-331, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-S-901, MIL-STD-2105, JOTP-052 and JOTP-053Experience using commercial and/or government test facilities for environmental, EME, or energetic test activities
