Responsibilities Perform services on customer sites, including installation supervision, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, modification of Gutor UPS systems and batteries. Work on both onshore and offshore sites, nuclear and is in direct contact with the customer. Act as a liaison between the customer and Gutor’s technical and commercial Customer Service teams. Provide services focused on after‑sales support for Gutor equipment as part of the OEM service team. Commission, repair, and maintain Gutor equipment, and oversee the work conducted by third‑party personnel across multiple client locations throughout North and South America. Promote all Gutor services and products to customers in the field, generating sales through FSE Leads. Complete work in a safe manner, taking charge for on‑site safety and ensuring that no personnel or property are endangered. The role requires approximately 75% domestic and international travel to various unanticipated worksite locations. Requirements This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in field services or a related occupation. Experience working with multiple units simultaneously, including Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS), SDC, Modulars, PXP, and Batteries to ensure units operate as designed and coordinate performance efficiently. Training engineers to troubleshoot and perform battery maintenance, repairs, system upgrades, and parts replacements. Leveraging knowledge of electronic theory to perform regular safety procedures, including troubleshooting, alerts, and part replacement, while using safety protocols such as LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), PPE usage, risk assessment, tool handling, environmental awareness, and safety recommendations to ensure a secure working environment. Handling and maintaining various UPS systems through multiple service stages, performing maintenance, managing spare parts, extending equipment life, troubleshooting, and providing training to customers. Providing round‑the‑clock technical support, analyzing complex situations and delivering effective remote solutions to resolve incidents promptly. Rate of Pay $100,963 per year.
