This facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center and Level III NICU, providing inpatient and surgical services within an organized clinical environment. The facility maintains established perioperative and trauma-level protocols designed to support quality patient care delivery across its inpatient and operating room programs. Locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

The anesthesiologist will assist in directing and coordinating activities within the Anesthesia Department, providing day shift coverage with in-house call responsibilities at an inpatient and operating room facility in California. Responsibilities include conducting pre-anesthesia assessments, obtaining and verifying patient consent, and discussing anesthetic options and risks with patients. The clinician will manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia while monitoring patients' physiological conditions throughout surgical and medical procedures. Clinical interventions will be performed as needed, operating under a physician supervision model with board certification in Anesthesiology required.
