This hospital-based facility operates as a Level III Trauma center, providing general surgery and trauma surgical services across inpatient and emergency room settings. The facility maintains a single ED call schedule and established clinical protocols to support both routine and emergent surgical care delivery on an on-site basis. Clinical operations are structured to ensure quality surgical care for the patient population served.

The clinician will provide 24-hour call coverage for general surgery and trauma services across inpatient and emergency room settings at an on-site Level III Trauma facility in California, with shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Coverage is confirmed for September 1, 2, and 3, with ongoing sporadic as-needed coverage thereafter. Primary responsibilities include providing comprehensive ED call coverage, performing full general surgery and trauma procedures, and completing endoscopic procedures; endoscopic scope capability is required for this assignment. Board certification in General Surgery is mandatory, and full General Surgery and Trauma privileges are required.
