System Administrator

Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract with a client in Titusville, NJ. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in managing access controls and monitoring environments while implementing security measures and optimizing performance and cost .

Rate Range: $56/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


System Administrator Job Responsibilities include:

• Manage AWS IAM users, roles, and access controls to ensure secure cloud environments.
• Configure and maintain AWS resources such as EC2, S3, and VPC for operational efficiency.
• Monitor system performance using CloudWatch and troubleshoot issues to prevent downtime.
• Implement security and compliance measures including firewalls, MFA, and audit logging.
• Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions across AWS regions.
• Optimize cloud costs by monitoring usage and improving resource efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering or infrastructure management.
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services including IAM, EC2, S3, VPC, and CloudWatch for managing secure cloud environments.
• Proven experience in implementing security, monitoring, backup strategies, and cost optimization in cloud-based systems.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $60.00 per hour
