Part-Time Line Cook

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Part-Time Line Cook to join our hotel kitchen team. The Line Cook will prepare high-quality food consistently and efficiently while following recipes, portion standards, food safety procedures, and cleanliness standards.

What You'll Do

• Prepare breakfast, menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Work efficiently during busy meal periods while maintaining food quality and presentation.
• Complete daily food preparation and assist with setting up and maintaining the kitchen line.
• Check food levels and prepare items needed for each shift.
• Properly label, date, store, and rotate food products.
• Monitor food temperatures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen.
• Help minimize food waste through proper preparation, storage, and portion control.
• Assist with buffet setup and maintaining food levels during service.
• Properly operate and clean kitchen equipment and work areas.

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant or hotel kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Attention to cleanliness, food safety, and quality.
• Ability to stand and work for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Schedule

Part-time position. Schedule will vary based on hotel business needs and may include weekends, and holidays. Flexibility and reliability are important.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Part-time employees may be eligible for applicable company benefits and employee programs based on plan requirements.

Work Environment

This position works primarily in the hotel kitchen. No regular travel is required, although occasional travel for company training or conferences may be necessary.
