Step-Down RN - Night Shift (3x12-Hour)

We are seeking an experienced Step-Down RN with 2+ years of recent experience to provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced medical environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and managing complex patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-heart catheter care and manage patients after vascular procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and perform neurovascular checks frequently.
• Administer medications, including emergency and cardiac drips, and perform procedural sedation.
• Manage cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management with timely interventions.
• Assist with BiPAP/CPAP management and chest tube care.
• Implement infection prevention protocols and ensure compliance with isolation precautions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of recent Step-Down RN experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience with Allscripts preferred.
• Cardiac and emergency care skills are essential.
