We focus on customers’ post go‑live journey, offering programs ranging from feature assessments to full deployments. About The Role We seek individuals who love to help customers overcome HR technology challenges and who are rewarded by driving high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate helps people understand tough concepts, facilitates collaboration on solutions, and delivers innovative services. Responsibilities Consistently provide excellent customer service. Engage customers to quickly understand business requirements. Share industry practices and adapt independently to challenges. Develop and demonstrate configuration solutions, articulating product capabilities and risks. Support multiple customers on short duration projects. Help customers become more self‑sufficient, stabilizing and optimizing Workday applications. Collaborate within the team, demonstrating strengths daily. Respond to Ask‑an‑Expert requests: research customer questions, deliver consulting, provide configuration guidance, troubleshoot, and communicate value. Partner with Engagement Managers on services such as Feature Adoption Workshops, Functional Review, and Health Check. Deliver additional services: Collaboration Crews, Accelerator Webinars, Feature Accelerator, Feature Adoption Tenant Reviews. Basic Qualifications – Senior Functional Consultant – HCM and Security 5+ years of Human Capital Management software and consulting experience on medium or large enterprise HRIS projects. 5+ years of experience with HCM and Security product areas. 3+ years of Workday Consulting experience or experience as a Workday SME. Basic Qualifications – Functional Consultant – HCM and Security 3+ years of Human Capital Management software and consulting experience. 3+ years of experience with HCM and Security product areas. 1+ year of Workday Consulting experience or experience as a Workday SME. Other Qualifications Solid grasp of HR systems and processes; detailed understanding of Workday concepts and releases. Certified or able to certify in Workday HCM Products. Experience influencing and collaborating with senior leaders. Ability to lead and influence design meetings. Deliver results while managing to a project plan. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with global implementations preferred. Ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously. Strong critical thinking skills. Bachelor’s degree or related experience required. Ability to travel up to 10%. Compensation & Benefits The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan, role‑specific commission/bonus, and annual refresh stock grants. Primary location: USA.GA.Atlanta (Base Pay Range: $99,400 - $149,200 USD). Additional US locations: $94,600 - $167,900 USD. Flexible Work We combine in‑person and remote work. Employees spend at least 50% of their time each quarter in the office or with customers, allowing for a flexible schedule tailored to business, team, and personal needs.
