CNC Machinist (Afternoons or Nights) - Direct Hire
We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Machinist to join our team on afternoons or nights. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of CNC machines.

⚙️ Core Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, CNC Grinders, Shapers, and manual machines.
- Precision Grinding: Grind and test parts according to strict engineering and customer standards.
- Quality Inspection: Perform inspection and testing to ensure parts match manufacturing standards and blueprint specs.
- Defect Control: Visually inspect parts to ensure they are completely free of burrs or damaged surfaces.
- Documentation: Maintain proper part identification per planning specs and keep highly accurate records.
- Shift Handover: Communicate change-of-shift requirements clearly to oncoming team members.
- Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance on assigned machines and equipment.
- Shop Upkeep: Clean, organize, and maintain the cellular manufacturing work area.
- Team Support: Perform other job-related duties as required to support production.
Position Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: 1+ years of hands-on experience with lathes, grinders, or mills.
- Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, planning, and manufacturing specs.
- GD&T: Possess a solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing fundamentals.
Shift Availability
Must be flexible and available to work one of the following off-shifts:
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Note: Machine-specific training is available for the right candidate.
