Residential Plumbing Estimator Bayonet Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning Florida (Multiple Locations) Bayonet Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is one of Florida’s largest and most established mechanical contractors, serving the residential new construction market at scale. We are looking for a Residential Plumbing Estimator who understands production building, moves fast, and knows how to protect margin in a competitive environment. What You’ll Do Prepare accurate, competitive plumbing estimates for residential new construction (tract and semi-custom) Analyze plans, specs, and builder requirements to develop complete takeoffs Identify scope gaps, risk items, and cost exposures before they hit the field Work directly with purchasing, operations, and leadership to align pricing strategy Support contract reviews, scope clarifications, and value engineering opportunities Maintain consistency across builders, divisions, and plan types What We’re Looking For Experience estimating residential plumbing (required) Strong understanding of slab, rough-in, top-out, and trim phases Ability to read and interpret plans quickly and accurately Knowledge of material costs, labor production, and installation methods Experience working with national builders (Lennar, DR Horton, etc.) is a plus Detail-oriented but able to operate at production speed Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment What Sets You Apart You don’t just price jobs—you understand how they’re built You can spot bad scope, missing details, and future back charges before they happen You think in terms of margin, risk, and efficiency , not just numbers on a page What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Stable, high-volume pipeline of work Opportunity to work with a leading contractor in the Florida market Direct impact on company profitability and growth If you’re an estimator who knows how to price work the right way—not just the lowest way—we want to talk. #J-18808-Ljbffr Bayonet Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning
