Join Teladoc Health, a leader in virtual healthcare, as a 1099 Nurse Practitioner (NP) and help provide accessible, patient-centered care to individuals across the country.We are seeking experienced Family Nurse Practitioners who are board certified through the ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) or AANP (American Association of Nurse Practitioners) and committed to delivering exceptional virtual care experiences.In this role, you'll deliver comprehensive virtual care through on-demand visits through a variety of modalities to provide patients with timely, convenient care whenever and wherever they need it.As an independent contractor, you can either add to your current clinical practice or build an entire telemedicine practice depending on the state(s) you are licensed in.This position supports hiring 100% remote within the U.S.What We OfferTeladoc Health APPs incorporate telehealth into their practices to help more patients access affordable, quality care. We offer a convenient way to increase your income without additional overhead expenses.Registered members using our services come from health insurance plans, employers, hospitals, and unions.Common illnesses we treat include cold/flu symptoms, bronchitis, allergies, sinusitis and UTI's. We offer strong clinical guidelines within our platform, along with required training prior to accepting consults.Accessible and easy-to-use telehealth platform via the web or on our mobile app.Simple documentation requirements using our proprietary software.Free medical malpractice insurance while practicing on the Teladoc platform, and continued coverage if you decide to leave Teladoc Health.Required QualificationsAdvanced Practice Registered Nurse with either a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)3+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner with urgent care or emergency medicine.Candidates must hold active, unrestricted licensure in a minimum of four (4) states at the time of hire.Must hold an active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA)Must hold a nationally NP board certified: FNP-BC or FNP-CPrevious Telehealth experience preferred.Must be eligible for and willing to enroll in applicable state and federal healthcare programs, with no exclusions that would prevent participation.Must have a clean professional record with no board disciplinary actionsStrong clinical decision-making skills and confidence in practicing independently.Tech-savvy and adaptable to telehealth platforms and evolving virtual care protocols.Passion for creating meaningful patient relationships in a digital environmentThe compensation for this position is $12.50/phone consult, $14/video consult, $6/async consult.Teladoc Health maintains an open application for NP roles due to ongoing hiring needs, as multiple identical positions are filled on a continuous basis throughout the year.THMGAs part of our hiring process, we verify identity and credentials, conduct interviews (live or video), and screen for fraud or misrepresentation.
