This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced retail environment where you'll play a key role in keeping our store running smoothly every day. Responsibilities Assist customers on the sales floor and at the register with a friendly, helpful attitude Maintain store organization, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for purchases and customer transactions Support daily store operations including opening and closing procedures Tag inventory Stock shelves and racks Organize merchandise by color, category and size Requirements Previous retail, customer service, or operations experience preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate product quality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic Passion for children's products, sustainability, and value-driven shopping About Us Once Upon A Child Ridgeland is a beloved local destination for families looking to buy and sell quality used children's clothing, toys, and gear at unbeatable prices.
