Job Title : Electrical Technician (3rd Shift) Location : Bath, PA Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $85,000.00 Hours: Wednesday-Sunday | 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Overview Industrial Manufacturing Company is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their team in Bath, PA!
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and electronic equipment
- Install, calibrate, and modify electrical components, instrumentation, and controls
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and work orders
- Install power and control wiring, conduit, and cable tray systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on generators, traction motors, and related equipment
- Inspect, service, and repair electric motors, including bearing replacement and lubrication
- Complete required maintenance documentation and work orders
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment while following all company safety procedures
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or technical training preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems
- Ability to successfully pass the Electronic Technician A assessment (paper-and-pencil multiple choice exam with electrical diagram interpretation)
- Experience with industrial electric motors (installation and troubleshooting)
- Knowledge of PID controllers, 480V power distribution systems, PLC troubleshooting (programming not required), 4160V switchgear, and heavy industrial environments
- Ability to work around dust, noise, heat, and environmental conditions
- Capable of climbing ladders, working at heights, confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Wearing PPE including respirators and safety equipment
- PLC programming experience is a strong plus but not required
