Job Opportunity
We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for a night shift position in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The shifts will be 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
- Must possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state nursing license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
Experience & Skills
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Experience with electronic charting systems is a plus.
- Clinical expertise in handling a patient-to-nurse ratio typical for the unit.
Unit and Facility Details
- Position will include support for various patient diagnoses typical in a telehealth setting.
- Candidates may be required to float to other units based on staffing needs.
- This position requires adherence to all facility policies and protocols including vaccination requirements.
Additional Information
Applicants must be nicotine-free, and a negative nicotine drug screen may be required. All candidates must successfully clear background checks and complete competency assessments as part of orientation.
For qualified travelers, opportunities for contract extensions may be available, as well as possible annual competency requirements for ongoing roles.
