Product ManagerFortune Brands is hiring a Product Manager to support a product line within our Moen water brand.As a Product Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the growth and success of assigned product lines within the Moen B2C business, with a focus on faucet valves.You will help shape product strategies by aligning product offerings, channels, and pricing in ways that meet both customer and business needs.This role calls for curiosity, empathy, and thoughtful analysis to understand market trends and customer experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to develop meaningful strategies, communicate shared goals, and contribute to outcomes that strengthen market presence over time. This entails a strong business acumen with a technical aptitude to become a SME of the inner workings of the associated products you support.The ideal candidate combines strong product management capabilities with a deep understanding of fluid-control technologies and consumer-facing products. They can translate customer insights, competitive analysis, and technical requirements into a compelling product strategy, while partnering with engineering teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and market-leading plumbing or fluid-control solutions.POSITION LOCATION: This is a hybrid position based in our world-class Deerfield, IL campus, with flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.What you will be doing:Support the development of strategic product plans by aligning pricing, distribution, and promotional approaches with long-term business goals to support sustainable revenue and market growth.Partner with cross-functional teams to guide new product development and innovation initiatives through the full stage-gate process.Build collaborative relationships with external customers by sharing insights and helping identify opportunities for category growth.Work closely with Revenue Growth Management, Sales, Analytics, and Finance teams to better understand channel dynamics and evaluate pricing strategies.Contribute to go-to-market approaches by sharing perspectives and helping guide product and business decisions.Collaborate with Operations, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality, to support product launches and monitor ongoing product performance.Advocate for the voice of the customer by developing a deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and market trends.Communicate product strategies and priorities clearly and thoughtfully to a variety of stakeholders.Support sales teams through training, participation in industry events, and ongoing engagement with partners and associations.Partner with Brand, Channel Marketing, Digital, and Commercialization teams to co-create marketing materials and promotional strategies.Review product-related communications to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.Provide training and guidance to internal teams and external partners on product offerings and updates.Maintain regular, supportive communication with field sales teams, including occasional travel (approximately 15%).Contribute to additional projects and responsibilities as needed.QualificationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.3+ years of proven product management experienceExperience managing products within the fashion plumbing, kitchen and bath, or water delivery product categories OR other valve, cartridge, and fluid control technologies, including thermostatic and pressure-balancing mechanisms.Understanding of sealing technologies, including elastomeric and ceramic components, as well as flow performance, cavitation, acoustic/noise reduction, and durability requirements.Experience with high-volume manufactured products in industries such as plumbing, appliance, HVAC/R, water heating, beverage dispensing, or automotive fluid control systems.Ability to translate customer needs, competitive analysis, and engineering requirements into product strategy, roadmap priorities, and successful product launches.Experience partnering closely with market-facing roles (such as Sales) and partnering with technical roles (engineering) to bring a quality product portfolio to marketStrong analytical and communication skills to support collaborative decision-making.Technical aptitude and the ability to understand the engineering, functionality, and internal mechanics imperative to the product while having the business acumen (financials) to build strong business cases, derive market insights and product trends to ensure portfolio success.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Willingness and ability to travel up to 15%.Preferred Qualifications:MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.Ideal candidates will have experience in fashion plumbing developing high-volume consumer, commercial, or automotive products that incorporate fluid control systems, including thermostatic and pressure-compensating valves, cartridges, elastomeric and ceramic sealing technologies, flow regulation, noise and cavitation management, and durability/lifecycle performance.Experience with both B2C and B2B product environments.Familiarity with connected product technologies or smart home categories.Additional InformationFortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $120,000 USD - $140,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
