About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in financial leadership, particularly in the healthcare sector. The CFO will be responsible for driving operational performance, partnering with healthcare leaders, and ensuring that financial insights lead to meaningful outcomes. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in fiscal stewardship and collaborative leadership. The successful candidate will be a key member of the service area finance team, sitting on local ministry leadership teams, and will be accountable for financial leadership across multiple ministries. The CFO will also be involved in transformation efforts, represent the local ministries in finance leadership roles, and work closely with shared services to achieve financial goals. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with a Master's degree and CPA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of closely related experience, including 10 years' in a leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare financial principles, be adept at problem-solving, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The CFO will be expected to work within tight time frames, manage multiple projects, and have a strong background in project management. Technical skills should include a working knowledge of desktop software applications and experience with financial management in a healthcare setting. The role is mission-driven, and the CFO will be expected to advance the company's mission through responsible stewardship of financial resources and operational excellence.
