ERISA / Employee Benefits Paralegal

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected Tampa‑based law firm to recruit an Employee Benefits / ERISA Paralegal for a busy and well‑regarded practice. This opportunity is ideal for a paralegal with hands‑on retirement plan experience who is looking for stability, substantive work, and a professional office environment.
What You Will Do
- Provide paralegal support to attorneys handling employee benefits and ERISA matters
- Assist with retirement plan compliance, administration, and documentation
- Support matters involving health and welfare benefit plans and executive compensation, as applicable
- Help manage regulatory and compliance‑related aspects of benefit plans
- Maintain organized files and deliver responsive client support
Experience Sought
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with retirement plans
- Experience may be gained in a law firm or through a third‑party administrator or recordkeeper
- Practical exposure to employee benefits and ERISA‑related work
- Familiarity with compliance requirements for retirement plans and health and welfare benefits
- Exposure to executive compensation matters is a plus
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Detail‑oriented with solid analytical skills
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Polished and client‑focused professional presence
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience using ASCi plan document generation systems is a plus
Salary: ($50,000 to $78,000 annually)
