ERISA / Employee Benefits Paralegal

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected Tampa‑based law firm to recruit an Employee Benefits / ERISA Paralegal for a busy and well‑regarded practice. This opportunity is ideal for a paralegal with hands‑on retirement plan experience who is looking for stability, substantive work, and a professional office environment.

What You Will Do

  • Provide paralegal support to attorneys handling employee benefits and ERISA matters
  • Assist with retirement plan compliance, administration, and documentation
  • Support matters involving health and welfare benefit plans and executive compensation, as applicable
  • Help manage regulatory and compliance‑related aspects of benefit plans
  • Maintain organized files and deliver responsive client support

Experience Sought

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with retirement plans
  • Experience may be gained in a law firm or through a third‑party administrator or recordkeeper
  • Practical exposure to employee benefits and ERISA‑related work
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements for retirement plans and health and welfare benefits
  • Exposure to executive compensation matters is a plus

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Detail‑oriented with solid analytical skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Polished and client‑focused professional presence
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience using ASCi plan document generation systems is a plus

Salary: ($50,000 to $78,000 annually)
