IT Field Support Technician

Our client is seeking an IT Field Support Technician to provide desk-side support across multiple office locations. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hands-on, and comfortable balancing on-site and remote support needs. This is an onsite position based in Rochester, NY.

IT Field Support Technician's Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide Level 2 desk-side support across primary and satellite office locations
• Support Windows 11 environments and troubleshoot end-user issues
• Provide support via Microsoft Teams
• Travel between office locations as needed to support end users
• Assist with basic network tasks such as AP replacement, cabling, and router/switch installation
• Deliver occasional remote support as needed

IT Field Support Technician's Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 2 years of experience in a desk-side or field support role
• Experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft Teams
• Reliable transportation required for travel between office locations
• Network experience (AP replacement, cabling, routers/switches) a plus
• A+ certification a plus but not required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
