The role involves managing a fast‑paced kitchen and front‑office environment, handling cash, onboarding crew members, and maintaining a clean, safe workplace. Responsibilities Hire, train, and terminate all hourly, non‑management crew members. Own the onboarding, status change, and payroll process for hourly crew. Create crew work and training schedules. Manage performance of hourly crew, including coaching and performance documentation. Act as manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant. Handle cash operations and ensure accountability. Enforce Raising Cane’s policies, standards, and safety guidelines. Conduct shift‑management meetings and use required tools and logs. Deploy crew during shifts and provide customer service. Authorize discounts, promotions, time‑clock overrides, and other manager‑level approvals. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant and facility. Perform other assigned duties as needed. Qualifications 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience. Experience in new restaurant opening preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license. Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to adapt to changing priorities. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Self‑driven, flexible, and highly energetic. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and able to learn new systems quickly. Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and travel for training.
